Forgotten Palms

Navigating through the West can reveal a barren and sombre landscape. Sporadically scattered across this desolate panorama, a mystical oasis of palm trees appear. Dead or alive, they stand defiant to the elements. A totem reminder of the country’s wild heritage among the layers of freeways and concrete urban jungle. Some have been cultivated as a place of new beginnings. Most appear as a graveyard to the hope that once was.
